| Cooperation with foreign partners |

|
Our cooperation with Nordland County Department of Education begun at November 2003. as „Twinning Project“.
In cooperation with Nordland County Department of Education we have succesfully completed the project of external evaluation of our study programmes. |

As a part of the project, our PMT visited Norway in December, 2004, and had the opportunity for „in–the–field“ study of Norwegian education.
During the visit we established cooperation with our twinning–partner, Bodø Graduate School of Business.

On February 2005, our twining partner, Bodø Graduate School of Business, positively evaluated our renewed three–year study programmes.
Later, on May 2005, representatives from Norwegian Ministry of Education, Research and Church Affairs visited our school, and were satisfied with overal educational process.

Most of the suggestions and reccommendations from our Norwegian partners were implemented in our new study programmes.
The changes in our study programmes were approved by Serbian Ministry of Education and Sport. The Ministry also supported and encouraged our further projects with Norwegian Government.

On May 2005, representatives from Norwegian Ministry of Education, Research and Church Affair proposed us a project for construction of new building for our school.
|
|
Local authorities has provided us with a new location in the very centre of the city. The General Design for the new building is finished. Preparation of Main Design is underway.

| On July 2005. we proposed a new project to Norwegian Ministry of Education, Sports and Church Affairs, which will be conducted in two phases: |
- Creation of a new school concept and partial or total re–organization of educational process to conform to results of external evaluation
- Improvement of educational process in our school based on „in–the–field“ study and recommendations from our twinning partner

| The outcomes of the new project are expected to be as follows: |
- Implementation of principles of Bologna Treaty in organization and operation of our school
- Harmonization of our educational process with contemporary standards in European education
- Integration of different ethnic groups into educational process (Romas, Albanians, Bulgarians etc.) based on slogan „Quality education for all — a way to a modern society“
- Qualifying the students for active engagement into regional and European institutions

In coordination with our Norwegian partners, the two proposed projects (construction of the new building for Higher Business School of Leskovac; evaluation and improvement of educational process) are merged into one project named “School for the Future“.
The “School for the Future“ project proposal is finished in accordance to the project proposal outline for projects funded by Kingdom of Norway. We have also finished Feasibility Study for the project.
Serbian Ministry of Education and Sports supported the project as a priority, and the project documentation is sent to the Serbian Ministry of International Economic Relations to apply for donation to the Norwegian Government.
